もちろん、ロックンロールが生まれた頃の人ですから、高齢なのはわかっていましたが、ボ・ディドリーとチャック・ベリーは死なないような気がしてました。勝手ですが。

速弾きよりもカッティング命な私としては、まさに神に近いギタリストです。

日本では不当に評価が低い（ような気がします）ですが、この人のビートが後にファンクを生んだのだと、私は勝手に解釈しています。

ジュリアン・コープがへんてこだけど良い本を書いてくれました。

「Japrocksampler」

なんで？とおもいますがジュリアン・コープは『何故か』日本のロックの始まりの頃に造詣が深いみたいです。

サイトもありまして『Julian Cope Presents Japrocksampler.com』という直球な名前のとこです。

で、アーティストA-Zなるページも用意されていて、そこの名前見ただけでもちょっと驚きです。普通は知らないよなぁって名前がずらっとw

J.A.シーサーやら外道やらめんたんぴんやらあがた森魚やらジャックスやら三上寛やら頭脳警察やらザ・モッズやらYMOやらに混ざって布施明がいるのが謎ですがw

まぁ、よその国の人の方が詳しいってこともよくある事で、in-worldでもヨーロッパの人にアニメやコミックについて熱く語られて困ったり、逆に超マイナーなパンクバンドの事質問して引かれたりとかw

で、この本のタイトルの「Japrock」、私にはすんなり入ってくる呼び方でした。普段はJapって言われたら謝らせるのに（結構、知らないでJapていう人多いです。単純に略称だと思ってる人もいました）。

ジャップロックって、なんだろうこの日本っていう国におけるロックンロールの立ち位置をうまいこと言い当ててるような気がします。カタカナロケンロー、舶来輸入再加工、ベイベェ。

少なくともJ-POPだのJ-ROCKだのといった気恥ずかしさはないです。なんなんだ、じぇい。ダサいし

（いまJ-SLとか思いついたけど、怒られそうなのでやめるねw）。

やらなきゃいけない事があって、がんばらなきゃいけなかったりしてて、でも、どうにもこうにも。

そういう時もあるよなぁと、思いつつも、考えは嫌な方へ嫌な方へと走り、黙って突っ立てる自分がこの上も無く意味が無い存在に思えて、何かをはじめても、まとまるはずもなく。
